Plus Size Wedding Dresses, Cocktail Dresses, Bridesmaids

Are you having a hard time finding a wedding dress over size 8? I had to search all over for a dress that was a size 12, not many places here in town carried my size, and if they did, it was old fashioned and not my style. Here are a few links to order one just your size and modern! www.sydneyscloset.com

Wedding Centerpieces on a Budget

Are you trying to cut costs on your wedding? I think there are a lot of DIY wedding projects that can save you a ton of money. Some of the prettiest centerpieces on from a DIY project that costs so little in contrast to some of the extravagant and expensive centerpieces I've seen. Here are some ideas: You can go to a dollar store or see if friends have some extra vases, collect some rocks, fill the centerpieces with stones. Or, you can add some collar and use fruit, like lemons, limes, oranges. In addition, pick some wild flowers, or grab an inexpensive bouquet at a local market or grocery store, add in a few flowers. Candles are rather cheap, especially votive and go A LONG way in décor and creating a romantic ambience. A lot of candlelight can make any room look beautiful, elegant and add a special touch to any ceremony or reception.
What about some décor for your reception? You can find all different type of birdcages and mason jars just about at any resale shop or thrift store. You can take mason jars and fill them with flowers, or simply put a small votive candle inside and either hang from a tree(for an outdoor wedding) or place on tables. You can add water and put one daisy or flower of your choice. The idea here is to create a beautiful yet simple touch for your wedding within a budget and not break the bank. Maybe you have a favorite flower, or specific color. I love the way a birdcage is simple and can be placed on the table with a candle inside for simple elegance. That's all you need.
I know some people feel vases are costly, but really, depending on your size of wedding, just a couple per table, with water and a floating candle, lit of course, can be a beautiful and affordable centerpiece.

Wedding Trends 2014

One of the newest trends for this year is the use of Chalk and Chalkboards. You can use chalk and chalkboard for table numbers, signs for guests for ceremony and reception, or perhaps a menu as well. I like the look of chalkboards, especially at a Vintage style wedding and reception that are outdoors. Vintage Chalkboards

Instead of Rice, why not Sparklers?

Once your event is over, or maybe in between wedding and reception, especially if it's in the evening, why not try Sparkler's instead of rice as the Bride and Groom leave the Church or reception? Check out the photo below. An extra cool spin on Sparkler's would be to have "HEART SHAPED" sparklers. Awesome. You can find these at Koyal Wholesale for a great price.

Unique Centerpieces

Centerpieces are such an important part of your wedding reception. It creates a warmth to the room, and can be elaborate, or very simple...so many choices, how do you choose? If you have a theme, it's pretty simple to come up with specific centerpieces. If you don't, most people assume you should just use flowers. I love flowers and I'd never suggest a table without at least SOME flowers, however, there are alternatives that are just as beautiful. Birdcage Centerpieces are beautiful. You can find them from resale shops, craft stores and pain them yourself, or buy as is. Add color to them by putting different types of flowers inside, or rose petals, candles, etc.
