2016 Wedding Trends

Colors are in full bloom for 2016. The latest trend rather than Gold, Blue and Brown, is now all about COLORS!
Color palettes are Rose Quartz, Lilac, Green, Blues, shades or Red, and Yellows.
I fell in love with this Green Wedding.
Imagine an outdoor wedding, somewhere in a park, or even a backyard....
Bridesmaids in different shades and hues of Green....
future Husband with a beautiful deep green tie on, along with Groomsmen.
Think of the savings on flowers if you used plants in different shades of green, texture, some flowering plants.
If I do a vow renewal with my Husband, I will certainly consider this, as it is fresh, so pleasant, and affordable at the same time using nature to decorate.

Gold inspired weddings

There's something very unique about a Gold inspired wedding.
Gold can be blended with other colors, like purple for a royal look, or black, for a Gatsby style wedding, or white/pink, for a more romantic feel.
Whatever the color, Gold is a beautiful color for wedding décor.

For a sparkly Gold look, add Gold sequin chair covers! Talk about a stand out look for a wedding reception! I love them.

Many couples choose black with Gold, for a Gatsby style wedding. Gold gloves, gold invitations, and mixture of confetti, really makes a bold statement.

I love this Gold Shrug over the wedding dress to tie in the Gold.

There are many beautiful Gold embossed wedding invitations. For table numbers, a great DIY idea is to buy Gold frames and put a printed number inside for each table. Another great idea is to put Photos of other married couples in your family inside of them on a table to represent the years they've been married, like your Mom and Dad, Grandparents, etc.

Gold can be used in all areas, even the flowers too. See more photos of Gold weddings and ideas for inspiration. I'd like to know or see a Gold inspired real wedding to post on here.

Pink Inspired Weddings

Pink is one of my favorite colors, and a very popular wedding color. Pink Wedding Dresses are now trending in Hollywood as well. Pink can be paired with so many colors. One of favorites is Pink and Gold, or Pink & Silver.

Traditionally Brides wear white, but if you want to opt for something different, there are some beautiful shades of pink wedding dresses. My favorite is a light Dusty Rose Pink, or a bubble gum pink.

Both of these are classic looks, just in Pink. I myself have a Pink Wedding dress. Some ideas for a non conventional wedding is to choose a colored gown, and have everyone else in white.

Pink bouquets are so beautiful and come in so many shades. You can have light pink with dark pinks, white, yellow, embellishments in silver, and gold. This one is one of my favorite I found on the web. It's a perfect bouquet of Pink and Bling. Perfection!(for me anyway!)

I love this one too where you can add in silver embellishments into the bouquet.

For a wedding cake you have countless options to make it outstanding. I personally think Pink with another color looks best but I love this one below that includes all shades of pink, from dark to light.

Here are some varieties of Pink for your cake selection.

One of the most important aspects to a wedding reception is uplighting in a specific color, and pink is a great choice to set a romantic ambience. Uplighting can be rented or you can purchase your own uplights.

To see a variety of lighting, Koyal Wholesale is a great place to view options. They are a wholesale company and offer over 10,000 wholesale items. I love their lighting options and it's a great place for inspiration and ideas.

Sexy Brides wear Sexy Shoes

When it comes to shoes for Brides, you can have a lot of fun shopping!
I prefer for a bright colored shoe, however they do make some very nice white, off white, and champagne colored shoes for Brides.

If you get a super sexy, tall high heeled pair of shoes, make SURE you have some flats, or lower heels waiting for you at the reception site.

I love red and hot pink shoes. Blue seems to be trending as well as purple! Check out Shoespie for a great selection of bridal shoes. I can't get enough of this storefront. They have a huge selection of colors! I have found my new site for Wedge heels.

I have become a shoe fanatic, never use to be. I like them all!
This one is my favorite of course, BLING!!!!

Again, I love the rhinestone bling shoes! Just imagine them sparkling on the Dance floor.
Whatever you choose, I think shoes can make you feel sexy, and feminine and ultimately will show at your reception for the garter toss section, and imagine how cute some photos could be with bright or sparkly shoes to show under your dress.
