Plain Jane Garter? Spice it up!

Ok, so I admit...I went to Michael's or one of those crafty places and got a plain jane white garter...may have even been Wal Mart...but I didn't even do a Garter toss at my wedding.
That tradition basically is the Grooms way of "deflowering" his bride, or in some cultures, removing a piece of clothing from the Bride for Good luck.
Once it's removed, it's tossed out to all the single men, and supposedly that man will be the next to marry.
When I renew my vows, I may opt to spice it up and surprise my HUBBY with an "interesting" one to say the least.
Raise of hands..who wore a plain old white or basic garter?
Maybe your future husband is a sports enthusiast, or a Military Man?

There is a huge assortment, even Superhero ones....
and bling Garters too with Swarovski crystals/rhinestone...
So what is your style?

"FUN" fetti, confetti....rather than wedding bubbles or rice...something new and original

I think the original and most common item to use upon a bride and groom leaving a church is to throw rice. Rice represents fertility and was used to wish prosperity and fertility to newly married couples. There were rumors of rice causing issues with birds, but that has become a unproven, and disproven urban legend. Since then, bubbles have become so popular. I found some cool alternatives to those Brides and Grooms who want something different. What about confetti launchers? These come in hand held little tubes, called hand flickers, that people can use upon exiting church, leaving reception, at reception, however you want to incorporate something unique. You can customize your colors and cater it to your wedding theme. They are pretty affordable too! I am frankly kind of bored with seeing rice and bubbles. It's time for some fresh new ideas and trends out there. Inquire for more information to kristinschultz38@yahoo.com
